My childhood toy was a bamboo dragonfly made by my grandfather. I still remember the sound of him chipping wood while I was playing in the yard. As a treasure hunter, I was always interested in exploring his workspace where I could find surprising attractions and sparkles. I enjoyed running my fingers across the wood fragments as well as the wonderful textiles, ceramics, glass, and metals that he used. I believe that these experiences encouraged my imagination as I learned to combine and contrast different materials and textures.

Today as a graphic designer, I continue to find immense joy in experimenting with various methods, tools, and making techniques. I develop each project with a sense of exploration, research and discovery in an effort to deliver always surprising visual solutions.
